The preferred way of "using" Geomajas is via the Maven GWT archetype.

Getting Started: To create your own Geomajas project, it is recommended to use the Maven GWT archetype as explained in this guide.

Geomajas now supports a whole range of plug-ins that can be downloaded separately.

Additionally for every Geomajas release, we have bundled the Geomajas showcase application separately. These example applications too can be used as a base to start working from.
