Code sprint results

From March 8th till March 12th, we had a very successful (and fun) Code Sprint in Gent, Belgium.

The team managed to close 45 JIRA issues including new features, showcase samples and bug fixes for the 1.5.4 Release. Major Progress was made in the following areas:

 

  • Stabilization dojo face
  • Extension GWT face
  • GWT Showcases
  • Association support
  • Lazy Loading

For those who were not there, it was a fun experience where experts could directly interact and take quick decisions. There was sufficient noise and cursing, mostly followed by even louder laughter and cheering (mostly the dutch equivalent of Eureka). There was good coffee (ask Oliver), there was a fridge loaded with (non alcoholic) drinks, there was pizza. There were scribbles on flip charts and sticky notes all over the place.

And thanks to the hard work of Balder, Oliver, Kristof, Frank, Pieter, Jan and Joachim there was major progress towards the 1.5.4 Release!
